The 2008 Festival Play is RICHARD III by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
Directed by Ben Crocker
In association with the Northcott Theatre, Exeter.
The play runs from Sat. June 21st. to Sat. 5th July.
The Festival ends with the Finale Pop Concert with Fireworks on Sun. July 6th.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS. The annual festive illuminations will take place on November 30th this year The entertainment starts at 4.30pm in the Castle Square with the Carnival Princess, music and hog roast.
17 Oct 07 LUDLOW CASTLE PARTIAL CLOSURE TO THE PUBLIC FREE admission to the OUTER BAILEY ONLY of Ludlow Castle on Sat 10th - Tues 13 Nov 2007. The INNER BAILEY will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC on these dates due to Valhalla Films Ltd. using Ludlow Castle as a location for a forthcoming British Feature Film “Faintheart”. The Castle Gift Shop, Castle Tea Room, Astara Gems and Tamsin Bridge Studio Gallery will all be OPEN as normal on these dates. The Custodian apologises for any inconvenience caused.
